As others may have pointed out, this is more of a process meter than a signal generator which can be easily confused with a function generator.
This is a great and compact unit that can be used on the go, or at a customer site if you happen to be a field service tech. It is a versatile tool for troubleshooting signal processors. Personally I find it extremely useful as a signal simulator and calibrator especially as I deal with numerous flow and pressure transducers with different signal outputs. This tool can simulate the output of each of them, therefore calibrate the signal processing board to an accurate signal while also ruling out any issues with the signal processing.
The unit is compact and robust with protection all around. The banana connectors feels solid and good quality, the overall build is excellent.
The user interface could be a little more intuitive, I understand this is a complex tool with various parameters to set and few buttons, but in my opinion that’s no excuse to have a confusing user interface.

I really enjoy the light up display and buttons, but I’m disappointed it doesn’t do RF DBNB signal generation. But it’s good for a variety of electronic device testing. I like the size and easy portability but an enclosed carrying bag would have been great. I definitely recommend reading through the manual first but it’s not too difficult to figure out.
