Very good scope with ability to download the screen image to your PC with its USB connection. But, keeping it from five stars is its limitation on viewing voltages below 38 MilliVolts on its 50 mv range. It shows a proper waveshape at 38 MV input, but if the input drops below 36 mv, the vertical amplifier simply shuts off, resulting in a zero signal! And it does the same thing on any input signal less than 40% of one cm vertical display. I have seven oscilloscopes, from a lowly DSO150 to two that go for over $1200. And used a scope at work that went for $5500. Even my lowly $140 DSO 150 scope doesn’t do this. IMHO, there is no excuse for chopping off low level signals. If there is any noise on the signal, its up to me to ignore them. Not some software Engineer.

The interface is a bit clumsy to get used to, but it works very well.

First it comes with 3 connection wires, one of mine did not work, I ordered 2 new replacments, now my tool works. I use it for testing Automotive Can Bus systems and it is perfect for this job.

This is a great light weight portable little scope. This is not a $3,000 tech. Scope. At this price it is a great hobby scope. Very nice dual display. Easy to see. The touch display is very simple. Basically put the probe on the test item and touch auto setup. It clicks several times and bingo everything is displayed. It tells you the frequency and P to P and RMS right on the screen. No calculations. I measured my house AC at 124 VAC but the scope said 130 VAC RMS. So this is not a calibration scope. Not sure if there is an adjustment for adjusting the scope to be a little more precise? However if you’re wanting a very small scope that fits in a drawer and lets you see many things this is the best one I have seen. I love it and I have already fixed a friend’s equipment using this little scope. Check your home power with it. Your scope may be better calibrated that the one I got. But it is not a problem for me. I use my multi meter for exact voltage measurements. You will enjoy this little scope.

The functions are fairly basic but the portability and large screen and easy setup are nice. I like that being battery powered it is isolated from the AC ground. I bought the one with 3 probes inc. the 100/1 to work on some old tube equipment I have. Some reviews I have seen say it is not good to 100 MHZ. I don’t know, I mostly only need to about 30. I have another more expensive 100 MHZ scope if I need higher.
