I have my techtronics oscilloscope as my everyday bench testing device and I figured it wouldn’t be so bad to have a portable unit so I purchased this one at a good price. I use this to test sine waves across the board in this 50 60 and 70 Hertz range on AC and DC for pulse DC and this thing works pretty darn well it definitely can be used to tell if you purchased a pure sine wave for a modified sine wave or a h switch sine wave and or a stepped sine wave inverter either from a generator inverter or a DC to AC converter inverter so those of you who want to test what you purchase before you go camping or live off grid and don’t want to spend a high budget on the mega name brand inverters you can purchase a lesser cost bargain model to do the trick and buy one of these to keep around and ensure that you’re getting what you pay for one word of advice with a power inverter always get bigger cables then what’s necessary and make sure your connections are properly tightened and purchase a inverter if you can at a higher amount than you estimate you’ll need as well as your battery supplies making sure they have more ampacity that’s current and Power then what you think you’ll need above the correct range has 100 amp hour batteries at 12 volts are only good for a thousand Watts and most people use 2,000 Watts so you should be purchasing 12 volt 200 amp hour or more batteries this unit is a nice little portable unit comes with what you need to test 120 and 240 volt and it’s portable.
